GOOD

The WORX Pathfinder WG650 is very efficient in removing snow as deep as 10 inches yet its corded operation can be a little inconvenient.

Finding the right snow blower for your needs can be a challenging mission. As there are numerous models on the market, we have taken it upon ourselves to find the best ones. Since the WORX Pathfinder WG650 has received a lot of great reviews lately, we thought it was about time we took a good look at it in order to see if it is indeed a value purchase. The price of this machine can vary between $199.99 and $249.99, depending on the place from where you buy it.

Features

The WORX Pathfinder WG650 is powered by a 13 amp motor which is very common for snow throwers of this caliber. It can clear an 18″ path, being able to dig in snow as deep as 10″. It can throw the snow up to 30 feet away.

Convenience

The WORX Pathfinder WG650 features an 180 degree adjustable chute with over sized handles. The handlebar can be assembled and adjusted with some convenient, easy to use clamps. The handle can be adjusted between three possible positions and the deflector can be adjusted in multiple positions. You can even rotate the chute while wearing gloves since it is very flexible and user friendly. If there is one feature that we are not fond of, that is the corded electrical operation. And if we were to name another flaw, that would be the fact that the vehicle is not propelled by the auger which means that you have to push it through the snow. While this type of operation is common for smaller devices, it is in no way convenient and there are other types of similar snow blowers which don’t need to be pushed.

Design

As far as design goes, we will give this snow blower extra points for its lightweight. The product weights 26,5 pounds and has the following dimensions: 20.7 inches x 18.9 inches x 18.9 inches. Compared to other similar snow throwers, it is about 5-10 pounds lighter and its compact shape makes it very easy to store when winter is over. The handle can be collapsed easily, without requiring the use of any tool. The Worx snow thrower features a durable steel auger tipped with rubber so that there is no risk of it damaging your driveway or your walkways.
